My history with the 1381st GSS is I came to Orlando in the Summer of 1959 and left in the Summer of 1963. I worked in all the groups but ended up in the Astro Group for most of the time. Larry Hootman is the only name I recognize from the list of who is going to be there. Most of my close friends except Peter Sheets are deceased or MIA. I believe I was the 70th person to sign into the unit in Orlando, Col Peterson was the CO at the time.
My wife and I are retired and full time RVer’s, I do some consulting work for some friends in northern VA from time to time and this keeps me on the road a lot.
