OTHER: My time in Astro changed my interest from civil engineering to geodetic astronomy and led me to research on lunar and satellite laser ranging, very long baseline interferometry, and airborne laser swath mapping. I made a number of trips to Hill AFB with George Musante to work on stellar cameras. A civilian employee, George was a huge man (6'3, 240 pounds)who once entered the wild horse riding contest at Frontier Days (probably in 1966) on a lark - landed on his backside hard enough to smash his teeth together and kill a few. I have been told that he died many years ago.
